Getting Started

First get on to Blogger via the internet - Create new blog:

 The page should look like this.

Then click on Template on left followed by Customise [almost invisible]in the box under the frame.

Then click on Advanced

Then on Background

Now click on the arrow to the right of the background image

Now if you want to use your own picture for the background you can click on Upload image [above Abstract] or you can choose one of the offered choices.

If you want to use your own image:

you will see this message and Browse...

This will take you to your computer and you can find a picture you might have in your pictures or even in a folder on your desk top.

Click on the picture you wish to upload and then on Open.

If your picture is less than 500 kb then it will tile it throughout your blog. Click done [to right of cancel] if you are happy with your selection then Apply to blog [top right next to Help.]
